All digital machine embroidery files, artwork, graphics, and instructions provided by Sew Astonishing Embroidery Designs are protected under the Australian Copyright Act 1968 and international copyright treaties.
Purchasing or downloading these files grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-user Limited Licence. You do not own the digital assets.
Terms of Use
👤 Personal Use & Gift-Giving
  • Permitted: You may stitch out these designs on physical items for your own personal use, or to give as gifts to family and friends.
  • Prohibited: You may not share, email, transfer, or distribute the digital file to anyone else, even for personal use.
🧵 Limited Commercial Use (Selling Finished Items)
  • Permitted: You may sell physical, finished items that you have personally stitched using these designs (e.g., at local markets, on Etsy, or in boutique shops).
  • Volume Limit: This licence is limited to a maximum of 100 finished items per design, per calendar year.
  • Mass Production: Industrial production, mass-manufacturing, or outsourcing the stitching to a third party is strictly prohibited.
  • Credit: While not mandatory, adding a credit line (e.g., "Design by Sew Astonishing Embroidery Designs") on your product tags or online listings is highly appreciated.
🏫 Teaching & Classes
  • Permitted: You may use this design as a teaching tool or class project in a workshop setting, provided each student purchases their own individual licence/file from Sew Astonishing Embroidery Designs.
  • Prohibited: You may not purchase a single copy and load it onto multiple machines for students to use, nor can you distribute copies of the digital file or printed instructions to your students.
Absolute Restrictions
  • No Digital Sharing: You may not copy, share, trade, loan, giveaway, or resell the digital embroidery files in any format or via any platform (including Facebook Groups, Google Drive, USB drives, etc.).
  • No Alterations for Resale: You may resize, recolour, or edit the file for your own personal stitching preference. However, you cannot alter the file, convert it to another format, or combine it with other designs to resell or distribute it as a digital asset.
