Downloading and Using Our Files

Download Designs from Your Order History

Follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Click the Profile Icon in the top-right corner. You'll be taken to the Order History page.
3. Click on the order that contains the design you want to download.
4. On the right-hand side of the order page, click "Download Design" next to the file you'd like to save.

How to Unzip Design Files and Transfer to Your Machine

Unzipping and transferring machine embroidery files involves extracting the design from a compressed folder and moving it onto your embroidery machine using a USB drive or a direct computer cable.
What You Need
A computer (Windows or Mac)
Your downloaded ZIP file containing embroidery designs
A USB flash drive (usually 8GB or smaller, formatted to FAT32) or a direct machine cable
Step 1: Unzip (Extract) the Downloaded Files
Downloaded embroidery designs usually come in a ZIP folder. Your machine cannot read a zipped folder; you must extract the files first.
On Windows:
  1. Find the downloaded ZIP file in your Downloads folder.
  2. Right-click the file and select Extract All....
  3. Choose a destination folder where you want to save the files (or leave the default folder), then click Extract.
  4. Open the new unzipped folder to see your design files (common formats include .dst, .pes, .jef, or .exp).
On Mac:
  1. Find the downloaded ZIP file in your Downloads folder.
  2. Double-click the ZIP file.
  3. A new normal folder will appear right next to it containing your design files.
Step 2: Choose the Correct Embroidery File Format
Inside the unzipped folder, you will see many files with different extensions.
Do not copy all of them to your machine.
Find the specific file format that matches your machine brand (for example: .pes for Brother/Babylock, .jef for Janome, .dst for Tajima/Multi-needle, .hus or .vp3 for Husqvarna Viking).
Copy only your machine's specific file format.
Step 3: Transfer the Files to Your Embroidery Machine
Method A: Using a USB Flash Drive (Most Common)
  1. Plug your USB drive into your computer.
  2. Open the USB drive window.
  3. Drag and drop (or copy and paste) your correct embroidery file(s) onto the USB drive.
  4. Tip: Keep the file names short and avoid putting too many designs in one folder so your machine can load them faster.
  5. Safely eject the USB drive from your computer.
  6. Plug the USB drive into the USB port on your embroidery machine.
  7. Turn on your machine and touch the USB icon on your screen to find and select your design.
Method B: Using Direct Cable Connection
  1. Connect your embroidery machine to your computer using the USB-to-PC cable that came with your machine.
  2. Open your embroidery software or machine transfer program on your computer.
  3. Select the design file from your computer.
  4. Send or upload the file directly to the machine's memory.
